NetherlandsThe location is fabulous,as are the grounds and the lodge. Staff was very helpful. We we’re given complimentary breakfast, upgrade and waiver of amenity fee because all pool facilities were under renovation from mid-September until at least mid-November, which booking.com did not mention at all when we booked our two-day stay. The staff complained that they had contacted booking several times about this. Still, incoming patrons had no idea and the reception staff felt really awkward about having to deal with the fallout. The lady at the reception solved the problem elegantly and made our stay memorable nonetheless.
