Honestly one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had on this trip. Everything feels brand new — room layout smart, bed huge, and cleaning spotless. Staff absolutely lovely, helped me with tour booking and even called a driver when I overslept for the ferry (oops). Location couldn’t be better, right near everything but not noisy. Rooftop jacuzzi = heaven after hiking Cat Ba National Park. I didn’t even mind that breakfast was simple — coffee and eggs hit the spot. Felt like a mini retreat in the middle of town. Highly recommend!

Mr. Cane was incredibly nice and is very welcoming. The place is outside of the city center, which allows you to take in real fresh air. The place is clean and has been freshly painted. At night, as the beach is too far, it is possible to go for a swim in the relaxing swimming pool. The balcony is very large and protectd from the heat of the sun and allows one to work on the computer, if need be. Mr. Cane is an excellent billard player, think twice before asking him to play.

Central location, very clean room and bathroom. Bed was huge and very comfortable. A lot of noise on the street but we couldn’t hear it in our room. Restaurant in the hotel has good food. Staff in the hotel, especially Jay, were extremely helpful, helping us book onward travel and renting a scooter from them.

From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The staff are lovely, especially Trang and Thanh – very helpful and attentive. Breakfast offers plenty of variety, and the skybar view of the ocean is breathtaking. The massage service was exactly what I needed after a long travel day. If I return to Cat Ba, this will be my first choice again. Absolutely 5 stars!
