Really dog friendly which was a huge plus for us 🐾

We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!

Het Sonnenhof ligt bij de ingang van het natuurreservaat Karwendel in Pertisau, naast de golfbaan Achensee. Alle kamers en appartementen hebben een balkon met een panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen. The rooms were very clean and spacious with lots of amenities including spa towels, spare rucksack and walking sticks for anyone hiking the local national park. It’s a very comfortable room and we had a double aspect and balcony which was lovely to admire the view of the mountains. The staff were exceptional in making our stay with them the best it could be. The food is exceptional and I highly encourage booking half board as you will not regret it. The breakfast is varied for all diets and the quality of ingredients is extremely good. If staying for dinner you will get a menu at breakfast for dinner with 4 choices of main dinner. The choice of buffet starter is delicious and then there is always a soup choice too. I absolutely loved the soups such as tomato consommé. Then the main dinners and desserts are excellent, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about how great the restaurant is, the creativity of the dishes, flavours and presentation are exceptional. Dishes such as the dessert of lingonberry pancakes with sour ice and local wild blueberries had us talking how delicious it was several times the next day! Then other thoughtful touches like a daily MorganPost newsletter giving weather predictions, hiking routes and things to do as well as offers from the spa were really appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. The quality of everything from the amenities, the cleanliness, the staff and restaurant are excellent. We had to leave to get our flight before breakfast started and this came up just by chance in a conversation and we were immediately invited to the restaurant thirty minutes early so as not to miss out on breakfast before our journey. You would not get this from a big chain of hotels and shows just how much guests are valued at the Sonnerhof.

Das Kronthaler biedt ruime, elegant ingerichte kamers en suites met gratis WiFi in Achenkirch aan het Achenmeer. Staff was incredibly friendly, very clean, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Spa was also very clean and wonderful. We will definitely come back, such a great stay.

Gasthof St. Hubertus ligt aan de oever van de Achensee, het grootste meer van Tirol, en biedt gratis internet, gratis parkeergelegenheid, directe toegang tot het meer en een eigen lido. Personeel heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt was heel goed . De locatie is heel goed gelegen vlakbij de Achensee.

Het Appartementhaus Tristenau bevindt zich direct naast de Green 1 van de Golfclub Achensee, op slechts 10 minuten lopen van de meeroever van de Achensee. Our stay at Appartementhaus Tristenau was absolutely perfect. Maria, the generous host, upgraded us to a larger apartment for free. The apartment was clean, spacious, and the beds provided excellent sleep. The views from the rooms were amazing, with Lake Achensee just a short walk away—ideal for walks or runs along the lake. The sauna was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. This place exceeded our expectations.
