The hotel has been renovated recently and is more modern than most big hotels, yet maintains its small town feel and culture. The room was extremely comfortable and furnished to smallest details. We had a great experience and would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Gmunden.

Modern hotel with most if not all rooms facing the Traunsee lake. Modern room decor with all expected conveniences. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient parking right outside the front door for a fee. Otherwise, free parking a short walk away. Great breakfast buffet, with an incredible selection of cheeses. Good communication lines between hotel and guest ahead of check-in date.

We had an amazing stay at Post am See Traunkirchen! The hotel is stylish, elegant, and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. Everything feels carefully thought out and of high quality. Our room had a stunning view of the lake, which made our mornings unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming, and we truly felt cared for. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to come back!
