Het 4-sterrendesignhotel Diplomat Plaza ligt in het centrum van Lukovit. Het beschikt over een spacentrum, een verwarmd binnenzwembad en gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. It was amazing! Comfortable, great location, and best of all, the staff really went out of their way to help. I had an amazing stay!

Lovely house with big bedrooms in a quiet area close to the river. Felt like at home with well stocked essentials like sunflower oil, napkins, cups, 4 coffee capsules, etc. The TV was smart with YouTube, Netflix, etc. and the WiFi worked well in all rooms. There were occasional cats visiting us while we were sitting outside but they were very cute and seemed domesticated and fun to play with for a few minutes. They contributed to the feeling at home. The path up the road goes into the mountains and was a great 1.5 hours 6km walk (there and back) which was not very steep, just perfect for a short hike by the river in great scenery (we even saw 3 wil deer twice each time we went for a walk!). Everything was very clean and there were leaflets with great recommendations on what sights you can visit within 2 hours drive. The heating was turned on so the whole house was warm and cozy when we got there. They also let us leave a few hours later since the house was not occupied on the following day. We didn't light the fireplace but there was plenty of wood chopped and ready to use, if needed. The introductory message sent by the host made me tear up a bit with the amazingly well poetically written ideas/narrative on disconnecting, lighting the fireplace and truly enjoying the house and the surrounding nature. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer to test the barbeque outside and the green scenery.

I liked the most the delightful view of the river from my room's window. The rooms were not only clean but also incredibly cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were polite. The outdoor pool was a fantastic amenity that added to the enjoyment of my visit. For those seeking relaxation, the hotel offered a small yet exceptionally cozy relaxing zone and sauna. It featured a large window with a serene view of the river. While the food selection may not have been extensive, the quality was undeniable. Each meal was tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. Overall, the hotel provided a wonderful retreat with its combination of comfort, service, and delightful views.

Het Ostrova Holiday Village Beli Osum heeft een restaurant met een open keuken, waar Bulgaarse en internationale gerechten worden geserveerd. It was peaceful and quiet. Nice spa facilities. Not overcrowded. I had very good massage. Good breakfast and dinner selection. Not expensive wine list. Good surprise! We’ll go again!
