Viietärnihotell Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola asub otse Lugano järve kaldal ning on jalutuskäigu kaugusel Lugano vanalinnast. Hotell asub privaatses subtroopilises pargis. A really beautiful hotel in lovely gardens. I was upgraded to a fantastic suite. The staff are lovely.

Public transport easy from hotel. A great spot to explore lakes Lugano (underrated!), Como and Maggiore, plus the awesome Valle di Verzasca.
