On the sunny plateau of Melchsee-Frutt in the Swiss Alps, 1,920 meters above sea level, this hotel features a spa and an open-air lounge with mountain views. Stöckalp SMF Ski Lift is 150 metres away. We had an amazing stay at Frutt Mountain (Lago Lodge)! The hotel was incredibly kid-friendly and baby-friendly, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. For the kids, there was a game room with a bowling alley, a cinema room, and even Lego plates at the kids’ buffet – such a fun touch! For our baby, they provided everything we needed, including a baby bathtub, baby body wash, diapers, and wipes. At dinner, they even had a special infant chair for babies who can’t hold their heads up yet – we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness. The whole place was spotless and very well organized. The buffet and sit-down dinner were both extremely delicious. The staff made our stay extra special – Lucca, the manager, was incredibly helpful, our server Stefan was wonderful, and the two ladies at the front desk were so kind. Our room had a breathtaking view, as if we were staying right inside a Scottish loch. Walking around the lake and seeing the cows nearby was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children. We’ll definitely be back!

Hotel Waldegg - Adults only má vyvýšenou jižní polohu v Engelbergu. Nabízí panoramatický výhled na hory, wellness centrum s krytým bazénem a restauraci. The service was exceptional - from a relaxed glass of champagne on arrival to help putting chains on our car tyres on departure. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated with a stunning view of the mountains and Engelberg. We ate at the Thai restaurant which offers outstanding food and at the European restaurant which has a small but well cooked menu. Breakfast was plentiful with options for high end warm dishes. The infinity pool was amazing with various jets and a separate warmer jacuzzi. The outdoor hot tub and sauna in a cable car cabin felt especially luxurious, surrounded by snow and Christmas lights. The indoor spa (2 saunas, steam room and special showers) is quite small, but during our stay we had it mostly to ourselves. For a romantic and relaxing short stay, it was perfect and we plan to come again!

Great value for money: it has a washing machine, a shoe heater, a bathtub, along with many rooms and many more convenient little things. The host is friendly, helpful, and proactive in communication.

The 4-star H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg is located in the heart of Engelberg, only 300 metres from the train station. It offers fresh and local cuisine, a spa area and free WiFi. It's a great hotel for relaxation trips. Since I was there only for a day couldn't try their experiences.

This is a high class hotel everything is new beds are very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Location is in the center of town short ride from Luzern. Parking is free and specious.
