It’s a central location for exploring the Black Forest and I love that the room came with a bus pass. My room had a perfect view of the sunrise and it was glorious! The staff were fantastic - my masseuse was excellent, and the reception staff were attentive and helpful. I didn’t make it to breakfast or dinner on a long day and they checked in on me. I also loved that a table was reserved at breakfast and dinner when you ask.

This fine 4-star design hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, in the Black Forest. The Neckar cycle path runs beside the property, which offers bike storage facilities.... Modern property decorated beautifully. Rooms spacious and spotless. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful selection of hot and cold to choose from. Conor and Linda are a breath of fresh air. So warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The only place I will stay on my future visits.

Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

Loved the bathroom. Great location, we were within walking distance of everything we needed for a short stay. Our host gave us great local recommendations for eating out. The supermarket near by was well stocked.
