The lobby is very nice, even though the hotel is a bit old, is well maintained and the lobby looks great. The rooms are a bit old, but still ok.

This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. Having never heard of this brand before (I later realized it’s quite prominent in the Middle East), we didn’t know what to expect, especially given the low cost. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of service and facilities. I keep likening it to a Marriott-standard resort, but at budget hotel pricing. The hotel was undergoing significant construction in one of the front buildings without informing guests in advance. So, we were surprised to find the entire lobby torn down when we walked out a day later. It didn’t affect our stay and the noise didn’t carry over to our room, but it was a somewhat amusing experience. Overall, it was a very good stay. Future guests can rest assured - you’re likely to have a great experience

Nile Carnival Cruise 4nt Lxr Thursday 3nt Asw Monday se nachází v ideální lokalitě ve čtvrti East bank v destinaci Luxor. Prožili jsme s partnerem opravdu krásný a pohodový týden na této lodi. Před naloděním nás přivítal manažer lodi pan Maher Aziz, který byl nápomocen po celou dobu plavby, je to muž na správném místě. Dalším milým překvapením byl ovocný koš v kajutě a jmenovka na stole v jídelně. Jsou to maličkosti ,ale velice potěší a máte pocit ,že jste opravdu vítáni. Celý personál je milý, úslužný a cítíte se jako na návštěvě u přátel. Jídlo chutné ,v dostatečném množství, kajuta prostorná ,postele pohodlné, další milé překvapení byla vana v koupelně (kajuta-apartmán). Večerní, zábava a program ve společenské místnosti. Na palubě bazénky na osvěžení ,lehátka na opalování ,či lenošení. Je možné zakoupit výlety za poznáním památek, toho jsem nevyužila ,nebotˇ to nebyla má první plavba na této lodi ,pro partnera ano, ale naším cílem byla jen pohodová plavba a to se povedlo s nemalým přispěním personálu ,v čele s panem Maherem. Rádi se opět vrátíme, Světlana a Alexander

Located at the gateway to Luxor, Al Moudira Hotel is the only palace situated on the west bank of the Nile. The domes and the patios ornate with arabesque makes up the oriental décor. Excellent hotel for relaxing, hosting events and planning excursions to the many local attractions. The entire hotel area, the facilities, the gardens and the rooms are all very beautifully designed, very clean and spacious. Great attention to detail, luxurious and authentic. We stayed at Al Moudira in 2022 before the recent refurbishment - it was great then but now it is truly amazing!

Millions of hot air balloons rise into the sky, drifting gently across the horizon. It’s like watching a fairytale come to life. Pure magic, from sunrise to sunset. What makes this place even more special is the calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s incredibly relaxing — the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Egypt. Without a doubt, this is the number one place to visit in Luxor.
