A charming English manor house close to the A1 road. WiFi is free in public areas and food is served all day. Rooms for some of the guests (we booked 7 rooms) were very good. Lorriane upgraded the birthday girl.

Ramside Hall Hotel Golf & Spa is set within a 350-acre estate, featuring 2 Championship golf courses, with a combined 36 holes amidst mature woodlands and lakes. So far the best accommodation of our trip. The room, facilities, staff were all great.

Just 1 mile from Durham Rail Station and city centre, the Radisson Blu Durham has fantastic views of Durham Cathedral. It offers stylish rooms, free WiFi, a restaurant, bar and modern health club. The location by the river was quality. The easiness of arriving/parking at the hotel was very good. Check in was rapid- no more that 5 minutes. Breakfast was plentiful. Location to Durham City Centre was very convenient.

Located in the picturesque hamlet of Greta Bridge, this traditional and peaceful hotel is in a beautiful location close to the Tees Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Always comfortable, clean and welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent and well cooked.

This hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and is just off the A1 motorway next door to the Bannatyne Health Club. Hotel was fine - exceptional in fact.
