I recently stayed at Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa in Mystras in April 2025 and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.

The food was made with presence and love, with traditional local plates and a great breakfast to start your sunny day. There is a cool Spa as well with nice energy.

Great hotel and staff. Very nice beach with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Elia with restaurants and supermarkets is easy reachable by foot in 15-20 minutes, although the car is recommended to visit Monevmasia and many other places. The hotel helped us with transfers and renting the car, everything was very easy. Good restaurant, my recommendation will be not to take half-board. It is very nice with wonderful choice of dishes, but in the regular menu the choice is bigger.

The food in the Mouries restaurant is delicious (gourmet) thanks to the chef. Linos tavern, the bars ... Everything is even better because of the smiles of Kostas, Kristina, Vasilka, Dimitra. Everyone, every member of the Kinsterna team, makes sure you have everything at any time of day and night. There is also a Roof Garden with excelent view of the town, harbor and bay, where you can have dinner, or just a night cup. The Staff is amazing, allways kind and helpfull. BTW all of them speak superb English. The hotel is located in a perfect location as a starting point for exploration of the Mani peninsula.
