I’ve been to Ubud many times, but this time I chose to stay here after a long trip around the island and just before flying back home — and it was the perfect ending to my journey. When I first arrived, I was a little disappointed — the property seemed small, and I worried there wouldn't be space to walk or that it might be noisy. But the manager, Rai, was incredibly kind and sensitive. Seeing that I was a bit upset, he immediately offered me the best possible room — peaceful, with a beautiful view and space for yoga and meditation. The room was absolutely lovely and of a higher category than I expected. The young team was attentive and always fulfilled my requests with care and a smile. I needed to speak with a Balinese doctor who only spoke Indonesian, and the reception staff helped me with that without hesitation. When my friends came to visit, they were even treated to complimentary tea — such a warm gesture. I felt truly at home. As always, Bali is like my second home, and Ubud is especially close to my heart. I’m so grateful to everyone at Hava Hotel. I highly recommend this place — the atmosphere, the energy, and the food are all wonderful. And as for the room service and cleanliness — absolutely perfect. Thank you for making my last days in Bali so special.

The noise from motorbikes was barely noticeable, which made the stay even more peaceful. Having a balcony was also incredibly convenient, adding to the overall comfort. The room itself was fantastic—spotlessly clean with a stunning panoramic view. Highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.
