The hotel is located only a 15-minute drive from Komodo Airport and Pelni Harbour. From Pelni Harbour, Bidadari Island and beach is only a 25-minute boat ride away. Guests can also take a boat ride to visit the Komodo Rinca Island or Komodo Island from Pelni Harbour. The hotel is amazing, the staff, the food , the private beach access. The atmosphere is great. I would stay here again. The food is affordable at the hotel.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciate their kindness and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Guests can also relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. - Hotel owner really helped us out prior to travelling to Flores and arranged for overland transfers from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng and then from Ruteng to Bajawa. Both drivers had good English and were reasonably priced. Thank you very much to Dolvi (staff at Ara) for driving us and being so patient with the construction on the way and driving us to dinner that evening. - Large, spacious and clean room. - Beautiful surrounding gardens. The properties back on to a bamboo forest and river. - Simple and nice breakfast. We were served fresh avocado which came from the tree on-site. - Recommend to visit the spider web rice fields which are close by.

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed at (and probably ever will!). It is expensive, but what you get for the money is just amazing. The location is so beautiful and the resort blends in with nature, our beachfront villa was fantastic (quiet, huge, super comfy bed, very clean, beautiful view) and all the staff were absolutely wonderful. Our butler Eka was amazing and helped us with everything that we needed. Angelo, Harry and Jeffrey were always eager to chat and make sure we were comfortable and happy, and Tia did an excellent job helping us out with snorkelling equipment and the kayaks. The two restaurants were both very good, and the spa was beautifully situated by the beach and offered great massages. There was a great choice of breakfast options and the afternoon tea was a very appreciated extra perk. We were also very lucky that our room was available so we were offered both early check-in and late check-out.

I was searching for a kid-friendly hotel in Labuan Bajo, and this was the only one that allowed children under 12 to stay with their parents. I was lucky enough to secure a room before it sold out for the Lunar Holiday. Even though I booked a king-bed room, I was amazed by how spacious and well-ventilated it was. The service went beyond excellent—we were personally greeted by the hotel manager, Peter Kleiss, along with the front desk staff. What made it even more special was the seamless check-in experience, which was done in our room with the assistance of our assigned 24-hour butler, Yosef. The kids’ club was fantastic! My daughter was in tears when it was time to say goodbye to Ms. Astri, Ms. Tri, and Ms. Ima. The recreational team also made our stay memorable by arranging for my husband and me to try on traditional Manggarai attire and learn about the Manggarai culture—huge thanks to Mr. Yohanes and Ms. Ima for that! The hotel also organized various activities for us, including snorkeling, water scooters, kayaking, and hiking. Special thanks to Mr. Julio and Mr. Leri for their assistance. The food was absolutely delicious, carefully curated by the talented Chef Andi Hartono. When I experienced seasickness from island hopping, Chef Andi thoughtfully prepared a herbal tea that instantly relieved my headache. There were so many wonderful staff members whose names I can’t recall, but what amazed me most was how they all remembered ours! Their warmth and hospitality made us feel truly special. We stayed for five nights, yet when it was time to leave, it felt like we were leaving a piece of our hearts behind. This hotel is truly one-of-a-kind, and we will definitely return—especially since the kids had such an unforgettable experience.
