The Papandayan offers 5-star luxury in Bandung’s city centre with an outdoor pool, fitness facilities and a day spa. The breakfast (included in the price) was exceptional. There was a selection of everything - I would say around 35 selections - eggs, bacon, sausage, a huge selection of Indonesian dishes, sushi, salads, curries, nasi goreng lots of sweet options local as well as cakes, pancakes, waffles, fruits, fresh juice, a selection of coffee's brought to your table made by the barista. The staff were exceptional and there were so many of them. You can sit outside or inside. It was a great experience to begin the day and a little chat with the staff was always lovely to enjoy. They helped us wth local information as well and always followed up on how we went the next day. As we were there for FifaU17 WC, they often asked about scored and celebrated or commiserated with us. We commend all the breakfast staff! Recommendations were taken up on and did not disappoint. The later check out time makes a difference too when so many hotels rush you out in the morning and you end a lovely holiday in panic mode. The pool was lovely and the spa amazing. You can book the hot and cold pool, steam room, sauna privately for an hour or so no extra charge! No crowds. The gym is small but efficient. Massages were half price of a neighbouring hotel our friend was in. Incredible massages! The door people were always friendly and stopping traffic for us. The personal touch of this hotel was something I have not experienced for many years. We even left with a beautiful Papandayan cushion as a gift. The decor of the hotel was lovely with Art deco meeting beautiful Indonesian design. The aromatherapy that hits you when you enter puts you in a calm mood after all the hustle and bustle of the city. The waterfall out the back is a serene environment and the fish beautiful. We had sandwiches made to go and they were like a meal in themselves! Incredible. No stomach issues whatsoever. Cleanliness of the room was brilliant, wifi always worked. My friends and I were very impressed. Thank you...

I was amazed by the personalized service I received with this great team. It started with them reaching out to me via Whatsapp offering to pick me up at the new high speed train station. Mr Nova was right outside the gate and had sent me his photo by WhatsApp. Upon arriving I was warmly greeted and personally walked to my room by Ms Iyang. Numerous times during my stay the staff checked on me when I passed through the beautiful campus. They also checking back with me via WhatsApp to see if I would need their complimentary car service to the Whoosh station. Beautiful location and facility but much more beautiful was the incredible service the staff extended to me - just a common business traveler in Bandung to meet with a client.

We had to find a driver to bring us from Bogor to Malabar via the Puncak Pass during the anual Indonesian holiday. We were very lucky to have great support here from Deina at the IBIS reception desk. She worked very hard to make it happen and it did work out well. Thanks again Deina, you're the best!! At the entrance tasty juices are provided for free. We had an early breakfast that was excellent; quite Asia centered but with mouthwatering bubur! Kitchen went the extra mile to provide us with after dinner pineapple, which was actually not on the menu. Another great asset is the location of the hotel right next to the Royal Gardens.

It was super clean, we had everything and the staff was so nice to our little boy that was for me the most important of our whole experience, we said one time his name and the whole staff knew him. This is A+ service also the extra questions if we needed something or think how to make our stay more pleasant. The massage service in this hotel is excellent. Also the food is excellent even in the morning there is sate! This is the best hotel where we stayed in whole indonesia, It's the first time we didn't want to leave the place.
