Vetera Matera is an absolute gem and one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the incredible care and attention to detail that has gone into restoring this historic property. The way they’ve blended the charm and heritage of the old building with elegant, modern interiors and thoughtful design is simply stunning. Every corner feels special, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy the magical ambience. The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The room was quite big and had all the amenities. The unique old-style swimming pool is the best we have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was great, unique, and filling. All the complimentary experiences were designed with a lot of thought and detail.

Na pokoj jsme dostávali každý den kafe a vodu zdarma. Pokoj a celý hotel byl kvalitně vybaven. Personální byl vynikající, milý a vstřícný. Kavárna byla perfektní na odpočinek nebo práci, byli jsme velmi spokojeni!

Endea Suite Rooms & Lounge SPA se nachází v destinaci Matera a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, výhled na město a volný vstup do vířivky. Perfect location. Parking just a few minutes away. There is just a few stairs down but we had backpacks and 1 cabin troller. So it wasn’t any trouble at all. The room is specious and clean. Amazing view from the balcony! The breakfast is nice. And the hostesses are very welcoming and helpful! The floor is stone and there is no sleepers, but pair of socks solve everything ;).

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!
