The city centre is a downhill walk with a lot of stairs and is about 15 minutes away. Overall, we truly enjoyed are stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The Villa’s wellness centre is surrounded by tropical gardens and also features a fitness centre with new Technogym equipment. In-room massages and treatments are also available. Everything was perfect! We were there for our honeymoon so the staff kindly upgraded us and gave us a beautiful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on our balcony. The breakfast was incredible, everything was thought out, and the attention to detail was fantastic. It's so great that you can enjoy the hotel by the sea but then also get a free shuttle up to Taormina and have access to the other Belmond hotel as well. All in all, we'll definitely be going back as we loved every minute.

Guests can also relax on the nearby private beach, using the free beach shuttle service. Great views, beautiful rooms. The service was excellent. The gardens are amazing, pool so relaxing. And so close to shopping and the Greek theatre. We took the shuttle to the beach on 2 days and it was amazing.
