This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in the city: location, room, service, and breakfast are all above expectation. It is very close to Kyoto Station, with one 7-11 across the street. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and spacious compared with other business hotels. Floors are limited to guests only. It also has a decent public bath, which is unthinkable with the roughly $100 USD rate. Breakfast is in the ball room, with great variety.

Although it is a large and fairly busy hotel it is very calming and retains many elements of a traditional japanese guesthouse. The location is also great and near to the train station and the city. The natural Onsen is really fantastic with different baths and a sauna. The hotel even offers a great small ramen soup and icecream for free every night. We would always come back, thank you very much.
