I loved everything about this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—every interaction was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The hospitality here is truly next-level. What stood out most were the pools—absolutely stunning, clean, and well-maintained. Whether you’re looking to relax or take a refreshing swim, they’ve created the perfect atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, the ambiance was calming, and every little detail was taken care of. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning my return. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a stay that blends luxury, comfort, and incredible service.

Room was clean and comfy. Owner was very nice to us. The pool was well maintained. We also got a free room upgrade.

The location is amazing, nature here is realy beautiful. You can swim in the river next to the resort. Facilities are clean and new.

We absolutely loved our stay here, was one of the most special spots in our whole time in Sri Lanka. The location was so peaceful, looking over the palm forrest with monkeys and other animals around. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful- facilitating motorbike hire and tuk tuks for us. The room was incredible, nestled in the jungle with plenty of space and great facilities. Everything felt clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning and the pool was amazing. Wish we could have stayed here longer

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It’s beautifully equipped with excellent amenities, including a lovely pool, a relaxing outdoor area, and a charming dining spot. The rooms are spacious, featuring a comfortable bed and a modern, well-equipped bathroom. It is located just steps away from Talalla Beach, a serene and uncrowded beach that felt refreshingly quiet compared to more touristy spots. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a delicious spread that included a fresh fruit platter, toast, and eggs made to order.

We stayed at Serene Villa for four nights and can not recommend it enough. It is so well kept and the staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is up a small hill, five minutes from Hiriketiya Beach. Dickwella Beach is approximately a ten minute walk. I had hurt my foot so I had to go by tuk-tuk and twice the hotel staff drove me to the beach for free. The room was lovely and spacious. The pool area is in a shady area which makes it perfect for a morning or afternoon swim. They also arrange yoga in the rooftop which I had gladly participated in if it hd not been for my foot. The breakfast was great with all the basic stuff you would expect plus some extra features that varied from day to day. We would have loved to stay longer!

Plantation Surf Inn & Restaurant - Midigama se nachází v destinaci Midigama East a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Would definitely come back here! The staff is super nice, helpful and always welcomes you with a smile. The rooms are spacious, clean, you got everything you need here. It's truly a hidden gem, a few meters away from the Main Street. The location is perfect if you're looking for a place where you can find all the good surf spots within a few kilometers. Value for money is more than expected. :-)
