Lovely place located centrally but tucked away from the busy road where it was really peaceful and close to nature. Was a great place to relax after our safari tour. The rooms were spacious and had everything you'd need to be comfortable. As I read from previous reviews about the bathrooms... they were indeed very unique and cool! The best of all, the host & his family are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to stay here!

Grillimisvõimaluse ja aiavaatega kuurort Green View safari asub Udawalawe rahvuspargist 8 km kaugusel. Külalistemajal on päikeseterrass ja veespordivahendid. Külalised saavad restoranis einestada. Mõni päev enne sihkohta jõudmist sain teate öömaja peremehelt, et nende pereliige on maisest elus lahkunud ning matuste ajaks sulgevad majutuse (kuna pere elas samal kinnistul). Koheselt pakkus peremees peatumist Forest Dew-s. Ruumid olid suured, voodid laiad, personal väga sõbralik ja abivalmis. Majutus organiseeris ka safari, ideaalne paik peatumiseks enne safarit. Hommikusele safarile minejatel soovitan kaasa võtta midagi sooja, et oleks mugavam kuna väravateni sõit on jahe ja tuuline.

Mansala Safari Resort asub Udawalawes. Kohapeal on restoran ja ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. Igas toas on veekeetja. Property is beautiful, they helped us book our safari which was great. We saw many animals. Also helped with booking transportation to our next location. Very friendly.

Green Paradise Cottage Udawalawa asub Udawalawes, 17 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja restoran. We will forever cherish the memories we made at the green paradise cottage! The whole family was so caring and welcoming. They truly represent Sri Lankan hospitality. Our sons played together, laughed, ran, swam in the river although they didn’t speak the same language. They took turns offering to hold our baby to allow us to eat or shower or just get ready. We immediately felt at home. The room was spacious, a crib was provided for our baby, there was an AC and mosquito nets. The garden is so lush and peaceful. The food was delicious (we had both breakfast and dinner here) The safari they organized for us was incredible. The cottage is about 20 min away from the park entry. We saw so many elephants and our guide Pasindu was knowledgeable, drove safely, helped us set up both our kids with their car seats in the jeep, and was genuinely nice. We are so happy we chose to come here instead of way too popular Yala. There weren’t many jeeps and everyone was respectful of the animals, something that was very important to us. We highly recommend staying here and hope we get to one day revisit Sandaru, Yenul and their family ❤️ Thank you for everything Laura and Joseph

Linnavaate ja rõduga City Elephant Family Resort asub Udawalawe rahvuspargist umbes 16 km kaugusel. Külalised saavad kasutada spaad. Peretubadel on terrass. Külalistemaja tubades on istumisnurk. City Elephant is ideally situated for getting to the park, right on the main drag through town. The owners are super friendly. My room was large with a good bed and good AC. The restaurant out by the street looks unassuming, but DO eat there...these guys cook beautifully. I had a rice/curry lunch that was just lovely.

Olivi Palace asub Udawalawes, 14 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. Very nice and friendly host. We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.

Vaikse tänavavaatega Chill House safari Resort asub Udawalawes. Kohapeal on restoran, ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt, baar, aed, välikamin ja piknikuala. We stayed at Chill House Safari resort and also did the safari with our host, Hashan. Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around. Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species. Overall, we recommend the whole experience offered at Chill House Safari Resort!❣️
