The hotel is located in a nice place near the lake, not far from several national parks. Personnel was very helpful, room service was fast and good. If you go to safari you can ask for a breakfast package in the early morning which is very convenient. Spa is excellent, also we enjoyed pool area a lot. Great hotel to have a rest after a long journey around Sri-Lanka.

Lovely hosts, we booked the breakfast and dinner option. The breakfast was huge, and the dinner menu had many options to choose from. It was great to come back from the safari and not have to worry about going out somewhere for dinner. I read on a post recently that someone said they had no hot water. Our bathroom had two shower heads, one was just a cold shower, the other hand held shower was connected to what looked like an instantaneous hot water system and we had as much hot water as we needed. We also booked an all day safari through the accommodation, which I would rate 10 out of 10. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver/guide spotted so many animals for us, he didn't rush around like some vehicles around us, our driver even assisted another bogged vehicle while the other vehicles around us just drove past the bogged vehicle. Seeing some of the safari Jeeps that day, some were clearly unroadworthy and with cracked windows that would have limited their clients ability to see well. If you are considering a safari I would highly recommend using a reliable service with a great reputation like this one as I would definitely not have wanted to be in some of those vehicles. PS we didn't get to see a lepord, but we did see a Sloth Bear which apparently are unusual to see at Yala normally.

Tranquil setting surrounded by rice fields and garden to relax and enjoy. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Clean! Breakfasts were amazing with a different delicious menu daily! Sanjeewa arranged a full day Yala National Park safari with Tilac who was the best and most determined to find a leopard for us. He did! Sanjeewa gave me a city tour to the bat trees and temple, inviting me to try a local healthy tea. Overall a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Easy walk into town or thru the rice field village.

We had an incredible stay at Kingfisher Beach Resort, Yala! Shehan, the owner, is an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond with his care and hospitality. The fresh seafood served here was absolutely delicious and a highlight of our trip. Our full-day safari was an unforgettable experience, exploring secret roads without jeeps, fully immersing ourselves in nature. We were thrilled to see a group of elephants and even 5 leopards! Shehan’s deep knowledge of wildlife and his guidance throughout the safari made it even more special. The resort’s proximity to the beach and a nearby natural saltwater pool added to the charm. It was such a unique and relaxing experience. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. Thank you, Shehan, for an amazing experience! We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Very nice accommodation, large bedroom and large bathroom with a nice terrace. Hotel balcony view is very very beautiful. The host is very welcoming and cook super well. He also took us to a thissamaharama temple history. Was very intreesting. We had a great time and best wifi in hotel.

Everything was outstanding - the service, the accommodation, the food and the people! Big thanks to Yassi, our ranger, who was very knowledgable and made our game drives really enjoyable. Also our waiter Nuwan was amazing and knew our preferences by day 2.
