Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves Chinese cuisine and also offers vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options. The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

Every single aspect of the experience at Wild Coast was perfect, from the room to the food to the safari. All the team made our stay memorable and provided an excellent standard of service. Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. Free WiFi access is available in this self-catering accommodation. I loved to stay with Randy and his family. His place is next to a beautiful lake full of wildlife, and they have a lovely garden with many birds. The room was big and comfortable and they made an effort to make me feel right at home. Randy showed me around on his tuktuk, and took me to see some local crafting processes. He knows a lot about the culture and history of Tissamaharama and showed me many beautiful places. I really recommend staying here and getting to know the area around.

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. For guests with children, the guest house offers outdoor play equipment and babysitting service. Guests can also warm themselves near outdoor fireplace after a day of cycling. Excellent place and service, Shoane, the owner was taking care of everything, great food and room. We also took the Safari with him , saw all the animals.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Great location for yala safari. Resort is stunning. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. Spa was worth doing, I went at night so I didn’t waste the day at the spa. Gym was great. Pool was unreal. All the food was great. Great breakfast. I had a great stay and will be back.

Good size room and bathroom, does everything you need for a short stay to visit yala. Great view of the rice field, very peaceful. Host is such a lovely person, good to chat to and cooked us vegan dinner as we requested - it was extremely tasty, super generous portions and had great variety!!
