Everything, from the luxurious and warm welcome to the very last bits of details, Danna did a great job. Special mention for Amirul, the lovely staff who works at the restaurant. He went above and beyond to make our daughter a nice bowl of chicken soup noodle when he realised that her bowl of tom yum soup noodle was perhaps too spicy for a 6-year-old’s liking. We enjoyed the large pool, gym and the kids play area!

The customer service was exceptionally great—if I ordered a towel from room service, it would be delivered in less than a minute, as if I were the only guest they were serving and caring for. The villa was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. I had no issues parking the bike I rented in their parking space. When I needed a bag weight measurement scale, it arrived within seconds after I requested it. The level of service was astounding: a perfect 10/10. The villa itself was also a 10/10. It had a smart TV with Wi-Fi, allowing me to connect to YouTube. The rooms were equipped with both an AC unit and a fan, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, there was a large fridge and a cozy coffee corner. Staying here has truly elevated my expectations and standards for future accommodations. This was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in my entire life.

A 3-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, the villa provides free Wi-Fi and free parking. The staff and service are phenomenal. They accommodate every request and are the kindest people. They also have a great Chef and bar. They made us a special dinner from seafood we purchased at the local farmers market

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. It is a 4-minute drive from Pantai Cenang, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town.

For recreation, an outdoor pool is available. On-site spa and massage treatments can be arranged upon request. Staff can provide laundry services and sightseeing arrangement assistance. Simply: everything! Ambong Rainforest Retreat is such a great place run by lovely people. Everything is well thought through and the service is exceptional. In fact we loved the stay so much that we changed our travel schedule to enjoy more time here. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, yet, the Cenang strip/mall is within walking distance (30min) or alternatively a Grab/taxi can be hailed easily. The hotel staff - everyone (!) - is super nice and helpful with suggesting activities and what not. The breakfast is delicious and guests can choose between two wonderful restaurants with great atmosphere and views (one is vegan). Thanks to the whole Ambong Team for having us and making our honeymoon start as amazing as it could have been - we will definitely stay at Ambong when coming back to Langkawi!
