Awesome staffs, always with a smile, proactive, super helpful. Our wifi in the room didn’t work but they fixed it the next morning. Fish feeding sessions are therapeutic for me. Kayak rental was good although the weather didn’t cooperate and it rains half way through our rental. Bathroom is well designed with bathtub behind shower area so it doesn’t matter if the floor around bathtub gets wet. Shampoo etc was top quality. Nice balcony although we didn’t get to spend much time there due to heavy downpours. Comfortable bed and pillow. They provide slippers both for indoor and outdoor use. Breakfast was great with fresh to order options plus buffet spread. The gym has reasonable selection and is very clean.

Loved the place, owner is very friendly, we had papaya and mango. Rented scooters on site for 35 rm per day and the owner is very laid back and helpful with everything. Felt very comfortable here, will definitely come back! Thanks again

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was perhaps the most ideal, relaxing stay we have ever experienced. My husband actually sat still for several days, poolside, and read a book (!!!), dipped in the pool occasionally, slept in the shade, meditated on the ocean scene spread out before him (jet skis far enough in the distance to be interesting but not noisy, parasails colorfully dotting the warm blue skies against puffy white clouds). Breakfast was declicious with western and suburb local offerings—-and plenty of everything. Bar service was exceptional throughout the day. We dined on site one night and the menu, food, and service on the beach was, again, exceptional. The entire staff was all smiles and eager to please—-we felt so very welcome. And—drum roll: the turndown service each evening was charming! We would go out to dinner (the hotel is steps away from the throng of downtown Cenang with all it’s shopping and dining options) though the facility itself feels miles removed) and when we’d return to our room, the lights were dimmed, soft jazz was playing on the internet radio, the sheets were exquisitely “turned” with clever little tokens of paper messages about the weather forecast for the next day, suggestions of what to do, etc. It was like getting a fortune cookie on your bed (without the calories!). Speaking of calories, as part of the turndown service, they also provided large ceramic mugs with fixings for either tea or hot chocolate. And they always had a jar of peanuts and coconut cookies to nibble on throughout the day. And we strongly encourage folks to reserve a “high tea” at least one afternoon. Their tiered trays of savory and patisserie dainties was just as delightful as everything else. We originally considered staying at the hotel further north—-the one with the rooms out over the water. But we opted to be within walking distance of town/activity and we are so very, very glad with out choice. Casa Del Mar is an exceptional hotel and great value!

Location, the pool, the rooftop restaurant, super nice staff and waking up to see the sunrise over the sea / mountains from my bed... everything about our stay was perfect and would have loved to not leave them a review and keep this place a secret!

Situato a Pantai Kok, a 2,9 km dall'Oriental Village, il Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi offre una zona privata sulla spiaggia, un campo da tennis, la connessione WiFi gratuita, un centro fitness, un... It was my first time staying at Ritz Carlton property. And I must say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we step there till the very last second we had a wonderful time. Every staffs we encounter were very professional and on top of their game. Services were splendid. Food was perfection, every meal we had was exceptional. Buggy service was very quick too, not once had to wait more than couple of minutes. The ambience was gorgeous. Room service was another amazing experience, coming back to our room and seeing all the little details that our housekeeping team had done to make our stay comfortable was such a special experience. Leaving a hotel was a bitter sweet feeling since we had such memorable stay.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. Its a beautiful place with total serenity. Its a beautiful in forest. Even the monkeys are behaved and have a peaceful behaviour 😄 The staff were always very helpful and interactive.
