Speaking English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, staff are willing to help at any time of the day at the reception. Fantastic relatively new Hotel, incredible grounds, a lush green paradise. Rooms are great, Spa is out of this world. 2 pools, one by the sea and one in the middle of the jungle at the spa. Amazing. The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

Ponci’s Gate to Gaia Holistic Center features an outdoor fireplace and a picnic area. We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

A vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free breakfast is available at the property. I absolutely loved the spacious bungalow with lots of windows and the big porch, all surrounded by nothing but tropical garden. The houses are far enough from each other so that each one has its privacy. I enjoyed Meghan’s yoga class a lot, the yoga studio in the treetops with ocean view is amazing and I was allowed to use it for my own practice, too. Breakfast and dinner at the beautifully located restaurant was very good, each day different and I liked that it was mainly made with ingredients from the garden. I had a bit of bad luck with the weather but it looked like the reef in front of the property is worth checking out with snorkeling gear which is provided by the hotel as well as kayaks and SUP boards. I thought it was easy to get anywhere by watertaxi and Meghan and Ryan were always happy to help with anything.

Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. (UV Filtered drinking water) Property is located 9.6 km from the center of Isla Colon. Amazing location, amazing staff and beautiful house and food!

Vegetarian and gluten-free options can also be requested. I do not have words to describe this magical place. I can honestly say one of the best days of my life. The place is amazing, the food was so tasty. We had a great time kayaking and attempting the peddle boat... But, the Monkeys, were the reason I came. Francine is an inspirational woman, who loves and cares for these gorgeous animals like no other. I am still speechless, Thank You for such an amazing experience

A buffet, American or vegetarian breakfast is available at the property. Absolutely gorgeous location. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and relaxing. The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.

The on-site restaurant serves local dishes, while breakfast includes tropical fruit, fresh juices and homemade bread. The pool area has a swim-up bar.

Popa Paradisa is now Clothing Optional- guests are free to use the pool and beach wearing a bathing suit, topless, or entirely unclothed (nude). Clothing is required in other public spaces in the resort, such as the restaurant, reception and lobby bar. All was fantastic. The place is a truly paradise. The hosts are so nice and welcoming. The staff always with a smile . It really unusual for me to give a 10. If I could I would give a 12. If you look for a getaway and peaceful place this is it. It really excited my expectations. The food was so tasty and different every day. The host created a unique place . You feel free and relaxed like Adam in eden.
