The welcome we had from the staff at the front desk was exceptional. The intro to the hotel and facilities was great. Welcome drink on one of the terraces (we chose which one) was lovely overlooking the pool! The room we had was fabulous, we were upgraded on arrival which was lovely. The food in the restaurant was particularly good, we ate there for both of our two night stay. The decor around the hotel is fantastic. Very different, but amazing to see. We absolutely loved the hotel and staff and will definitely come back.

There is a desk & bar area & plenty of cupboard space. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the deck & the views to the gardens outside very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, including a fully labelled herb and vegetable garden. There are 2 pool areas, one for kids which is also a great idea. Transport can be arranged by golf cart to and from the restaurant but we enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was excellent, huge range of choices, and the dinners too, although it was pretty pricey. There is a separate spa centre and its a 10 minute drive into Comporta.
