Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially our greeter at the entrance. He was very helpful with all the necessary information we needed. Food at breakfast was very good. Our tasting menu experience, although expensive, was a really lovely two hours. The food in the other speciality restaurant was very good but the portions were tiny. The pool areas were really well kept. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for that bit of extra luxury we all crave.

Naprosto krasne ubytovani v srdci Algarve. Rozhodne se vratime jednou na dovolenou. Krasny cisty dvoupatrovy radovy dum s terasou a velkou zahradou. Velice vonne kosmeticke pripravky v koupelne, miluju tu vuni mydla. Do restaurace pesky 2minuty. Byli jsme dve noci a cestovali, nemohu vice hodnotit.

It was very spacious and beautiful, with a huge shower, a coffee machine in the room and access to the pool. The breakfast was great, varied with a large selection of pastries, salads and fruits. The service at the hotel was great. If you are in the Lagos area, don't miss this hotel.

Set in the rural Algarve landscape, Vale d'El Rei Resort is surrounded by vineyards and only 3 km from the sandy Marinha Beach. It has 2 pools, a stream, and lake. They upgraded us to a suite and early checkin was so appreciated. Pool is lovely and plenty of shade available on a hot day. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Highly recommend this property for quiet get-away from the busy Algarve cities!!
