Located in the UNESCO-listed town of Banská Štiavnica, Resla Residence I, II, & Wellness is housed in the historic building dating back from the 15th century. One of the best hotels we've been to. The room was at a level that I'd expect in a hotel that's 2x the price. Very clean, large, everything was new. There is also an amazing view of the town.

We liked the wellness (even though it was extra), the location, the staff and the beds were very comfy and everything felt clean.

Though we prefer the more spacious, deluxe rooms, even the standard, value oriented room was fine for us. The A/C definitely helps in the summer time, especially in the attic. We loved the facility overall. The whole site is well kept. The swimming pool and spa is a very nice bonus for the price. The sauna only operates in the afternoon, though. Breakfast was included and we were well fed. :) We even used the restaurant a couple of times and no matter what we picked from the a la cart menu, everything was excellent. Unless you have a very, very good reason to stay directly in Banska Stiavnica, stay here instead. You'll thank me afterwards. :)

Apartmán Kováčová - The Apartment in spa village si trova a Kováčová, a 6,3 km da Castello di Zvolen e 10 km da wooden church Hronsek UNESCO, in una zona dove potrete praticare l’escursionismo. Very nice and fully equipped apartment located in a quite spa village. There is an aquapark close to the apartment with several pools with thermal springs water. There are also many nice places around Kováčová. So this apartment is a very good base for day trips to many interesting places.
