We enjoyed a massage in the spa which was very good. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, service all round was fantastic.

More dining options are in the neighbourhood, just a stroll away from the hotel. a very characteristic petite hotel. the staffs are genuinely kind and helpful. the plants/trees/flowers within the hotel compound are wonderful! room is big enough, also clean breakfast wonderful- laundry service (per kg) - life saver! neighborhood is quiet and among some nice residential houses will come back!!

It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

Everything was wonderful, it was exceptional 5 star service throughout. Staff are brilliant and polite, the breakfast was very good and healthy. I liked the complimentary yoga classes. Gym and pool were good. Room was amazing, really comfy bed and luxurious.
