Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort is surrounded by mountains, historic temples and hill tribe villages. The location and the outside were so great ! Very big room comfortable and nice decorated. The staff was smiling and gentle. All the hotel was nice decorated specially the reception. We could walk around in the large garden with old trees. There were two wonderful restaurants. The breakfast was exceptional with all you can want to eat : fresh juices, local cooking but also western one. Even gluten and lactose free !

Phu Chaisai Chiang Rai Mountain Resort & Spa se může pochlubit úžasným výhledem na krajinu ze svého vrcholu kopce a nabízí ekologické chaty s doškovou střechou a bylinkové zahrady. This place is paradise. Lots of bamboo buildings amidst gardens, fantastic views over hills and mountains. Lots of options at breakfast and for dinner (though for the latter, as in most places, not quite enough vegetarian options). Staff were all very friendly. The location is fairly isolated, but the resort itself is just a wonderful place to relax in a scenic, unpressured environment in the midst of beautiful gardens. Nice experience one day when a horse-riding monk from a nearby monastery turned up to collect offerings and bless the place.

Nestled within the mist-shrouded hills of northern Thailand, the luxurious Katiliya Mountain Resort & Spa offers spacious suites with a balcony and free Wi-Fi. We stayed in a mountain Suite. It was fabulous. . Wonderful room exceptional size with massive bathroom bath and separate shower. The most amazing views. . Breakfast outstanding with so much choice . Dining outstanding too . Staff extremely attentive and always going that extra mile. Nothing too much trouble. Definitely will be going back four nights just not long enough. Very secluded location but all part of the charm.
