The spa offers a variety of massages and beauty treatments. Other facilities at River Bend Lodge include a shared lounge, a library and an outdoor pool with sun loungers. We stayed at Lodge for 3 nights at the end of November, chosing the "All Inclusive" package. It was the best adventure and the best place we stayed during our trip through South Africa. Leo, our tour guide, has showed, explained and I jetted into us the wholesome approach to safari. You could feel like a carefree child that went on adventure to discover. We wish every tour guide could show to its guests such an excepcional respect towards the animals. Leo transforms such kindness, that at the end of the day you feel extremely rewarded by seeing every little living on safari, inuding birds, elephants, monkeys - all living wild and free. In the breaks, we could learn so much by having just a casual conversation with him. We really felt like being invited to magnificent kingdom of the animals, without feeling like some random intruders. A beating heart of this place is Debbie: what an outstanding manger. You "don't see her, don't hear her", but she is there and she keeps and eye on everything, ensuring such a comfortable stay for the guests. Debbie just transmits calmness, kindness, warmth, and professionalism. It was a real pleasure know her. The amazing Crew of the Lodge gives you a total family vibe. They winked an eye at us every time they left us a nice surprise in the form of flower petals or chocolates. Everything from warm towels to wipe our hands, through tasty meals (delicious soups!), was full of kindness and joy of hosting us. From warm welcome to a family-like farewell (followed by messages to check our further progress on the road) - everything was such a beautiful sign of being human that I came back completely refreshed. Enjoy every second of staying at the Lodge. Go out on adventure. Admire the nature with the respect and curiosity of an explorer. Feel fresh air on your face. Eat boldly and healthily. Breakfast is served buffet-style each morning. Lunches can be enjoyed poolside or on the sun deck and dinner is available in the thatched dining room that overlooks the water. luxury place, very friendly staff, piano playing during dinner, excellent breakfast buffet and dinner.

Situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, 9 km from Paterson, Shamwari Bayethe offers luxury tents with a private plunge pool. Home to the Big 5, the reserve features scenic views of the vast landscapes. The setting and the facilities were excellent. We used the Spa which perfectly complemented the Lodge. The rooms were spotlessly clean as were the rest of the facilities.

Kuzuko Lodge consist of 24 chalet of which 3 are fully wheelchair accessible. All facilities including the pool, spa, gym, conference room, restaurant, family lounge, curio shop and bar are accessible by wheelchair. The staff and the view and setting. Also the food was great! Very comfortable!

Set between 2 streams in a lush bush land, this 5-star lodge is located within the Lalibela Game Reserve. It offers secluded suites with private heated plunge pools and terraces.

Included in the rates are 2 game drives per night stayed, all meals and drinks. Visitors can choose between indoor and outdoor dining areas or just relax by the pool with their favourite drink. Everything was great; from the service of the lodge staff to the game drive tour guides. Cannot find fault with anything.

The spacious and elegant rooms and suites at Shamwari Long Lee Manor feature satellite TV, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and tea-and-coffee making facilities.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included and served in the dining area or outdoors. Simply great. Great location in many senses - the reserve itself (only 1 hour from the airport PLZ), the location of the manor in the reserve and of course the reserve as a biodiverse paradise. Food - great - suprisingly great we have to say. The Manor is spacious, our room was much larger than expected. It had a terrace facing the open reserve where you could see animals from a distance after a shower or having a coffee. The buildings have a modern country style touch, are very welcoming, open and invite to relax. There is "the usual" 5-star stuff to do, if you are not on a game drive (pool, spa, gym, etc). Which is great if you have a partner or you are in a group with people that are not into game drives as much - they will have a proper 5-star hotel experience and be able to relax anyway. - This is a main difference to camps with tents and less luxurious equipment. Staff is very friendly - nice concept of the ranger having breakfast with you afterwards so you can reflect upon what you have seen. Children - there is another camp in the reserve that is especially family friendly - I forgot the name - ask the reserve, they will tell you.

A continental breakfast is available at Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge. Excellent views, wild life was amazing to see, elephant walk was excellent. Room comfort was incredible and the staff were very sweet and always on top of their game to help with no waiting time!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks are served at various indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is a fire pit where guests can enjoy a nightcap after dinner.

Guests may either book a Bed and Breakfast package or our Full Board Package which includes all meals and 1 outdoor activity per day (night stayed) on the reserve in an open game viewing vehicle, accompanied by a qualified game ranger. Outdoor activities include, game drives, giraffe walks, bush walks, bird watching and star gazing experiences. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and sundowner drinks are offered at sunset. Wonderful safari adventures. Absolutely welcoming staff we felt right at home. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the wildlife.

Rooms at the Zuurberg Mountain Village combine safari-style with classic décor, offering natural furnishings. All rooms include a private patio and a panoramic deck and some have a deluxe bathroom. Beautiful scenic location. Staff was excellent! Especially Anthony. Did not like the road to get there. It is not maintained.
