One of the best places on our road trip!! Perfect locations, environment- beach really close. I would have loved to stay there for another few nights! The place was perfect - clean, everything for cooking ans parking right next to the door! And at the reception- lady gave us vouchers - if you buy coffee- you get a doughnut 😉 small stuff- but still nice!

Catalina Golf Club is down the road for food best in town. Batemans holiday park is so nice. Spotless clean, great facilities washing cooking. Staff is good as well. Parking beside your van

This park is so fantastic for kids and families especially. It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. There's just so much there. A perfect way to unwind.

No meals included. Brilliant location - opposite the river - excellent for a lovely walk. The house is just down the road from the local Bowling Club, making it fine to walk to for dinner. It's also not far from the Quantum Brewery, and a short walk into town where we visited the local markets on the Saturday morning. There are lots of shuttered windows so lots of beautiful sunshine can be allowed in. Fantastic deck out the front to greet the morning with, two bathrooms and separate toilet so no one is waiting. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of good comfy beds. There's a cupboard of great boardgames to play. Hosts had been in touch prior to our visit to make sure all was good.
