This chalet is a nice experience. The reason why I give a 10/10 is that al standard commercial places become boring over time. This small chalet in the middle of the mountains is the exact opposite. The full wood interior and the low ceiling (I’m 1.83 and nearly touch the ceiling) made it really cosy. The bed is also great.

The Motel Gottardo Sud can be found 7 minutes from the A2 / E35 highway, south of the Gotthard tunnel. It offers quiet rooms, tasty food, free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is old (60'-70'). The conditions are not TOP, but we are talking about a high altitude location. The staff is friendly and they work hard to keep it clean. Their services are impeccable as well. Chapeau! An exquisite location. I will return there asap.
