Three-Star Hotels in Kellberg

It is a beautiful location with a lovely hotel. The road towards the hotel was already putting us in a relaxed mode. So much green! The hotel looks beautiful. The receptionist was very welcoming and nice, explained us where everything was and that we could still eat at a restaurant 150 meters down the road if we'd hurry (we arrived at 20.15, the restaurant kitchen closed at 20.30). The rooms were spacious, looked renewed, and we had a view on the garden. The beds were nice, the shower was great. Breakfast was also lovely, many choices. You could also eat breakfast outside if you wanted to. We stayed for just one night since we were travelling home from Croatia and were looking for a hotel halfway, near Passau. I'm sure we'll come again!

Everything was very clean and available.Staff was exceptional and when they saw we have a baby that needed milk for the road we were offered one to go,we even got a stuffed toy that my baby boy huged the rest of the trip. Amazing service, and we will visit it again!

The hotel is new, so everything is clean and modern.

Perfect starting point for cycling the Danube. Loads of facilities for bikes including easy garage lock up. Excellent that you can leave your car for 3€ a day in an enormous safe field/ car park just behind the rooms.

Very large and well equipped room in a historic and rustic building (lots of stone and wood). Very varied breakfast buffet. Great price!

I wish there would be more hotels like this one - I was travelling by bicycle along the Danube and spent one night in Passau. First of all the hotel location is very convenient: close to the city-center, very close to the main train station and yet in a quiet area with view on the Danube. When arriving by bicycle in Passau I found the hotel by accident before even I started to actually look for it, since it is directly on the way for bicycles (Donauradweg). The site staff was very friendly and there is a secured garage for bikes that you can access anytime with a code and with a button to call the reception. I had a single room with everything that I needed. Of course the rooms are very small but that is part of the concept of this hotel: ideal for people spending 1-2 nights in Passau when travelling on foot, by bicycle or with another small vehicle. The prices in this hotel are low and probably among the cheapest ones of the city. The shared bathrooms/toilets were very clean. Maybe I was lucky and the hotel was not full (although I was there on a sunny saturday night), it is probably a bit more complicated when the hotel is full, therefore potentially noisy and with difficulties to find free bathrooms. But on that night it was not the case, I had a very nice sleep and there were plenty of available bathrooms anytime I needed one. As I was tired and like to sleep in total silence I slept with earplugs - but the night was probably very silent anyway. If I travel again by bicycle to Passau I would definitely book there again.
