The hotel was excellent from the comfort cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff at breakfast, reception and in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very chic, toiletries are also of good quality, breakfast room is very nice and all the set up is very classy, nice plates, tasty food, different choices of coffee, fresh fruit, nice and small glass jars for marmelade, very, very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. Our double bed was huge, there was plenty of room for two adults and two kids in the same bed! Switzerland is very close, 2 min away. Altogether it was a pleasant stay and we would most def come back.

    It was a good location to get to by car. You can park on the terrain for free and you are very close to Vitra Campus. I assume you can easily get to the city center of Basel by public transport, but I used my car to get to locations further from the city center, like Goetheanum en Fondation Beyeler.
