Staff was very cooperative. Specially, a lady named Penny at the reception desk who went all out to guide us about the car park location and places to visit nearby.

Staff were really nice, helpful, friendly couldn't fault them. Place location was great for our needs very quiet. Even provide board games to play while having a drink.

Fantastic room in old stable block . Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent !

Fairly near to family who we were visiting. Near to a barbers we made use of and a large supermarket handy for anything I forgot to bring with me. It was lovely to stay in an English pub with Hawkstone beer to try though we preferred the special bitter. Lively menu which we felt would cover all tastes. Night one we had been out at lunchtime so just had the fish platter to share , second night we both had the steak perfectly cooked to our liking. Didn’t have dessert though they looked good when served to an adjacent table !
