Everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the first day. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. First of all, our host was an amazing and lovely lady. Rita is the proprietor of the hotel and made us feel very welcome. Due to the terrible weather Italia was having at this time, there was actually a landslide that damaged the railway. Rita ensured that we were able to get to Varenna, and also assisted us with our departure. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely on a hot day. Castello di Vizeo is a very pleasant two or three minutes walk away. The Castle is not to be missed and affords amazing views over Lake Como. Rita also cooked for us both evenings and we had nice meals. We will really consider staying here again in the future!
