This place is absolutely in walking distance of all the sights in Volterra - but you have to leave your car outside the city walls for 15€/night which is also no problem and in short walking distance to Albergo Ertruria. Daniele the owner is a treasure in this business, very friendy and absolutely helpful. Highly recommended 👍

Really convenient location for cycling tourists like us - the location was really convenient with plenty of storage room for bikes. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bathroom spacious, the breakfast catered for all the tastes. The staff were helpful. The neighbourhood is really quiet and there is a good restaurant 300m from the hotel.

First we chose a room without air conditioning, which was really a mistake in July. Fortunately, however, there were other rooms available where this problem was solved for a small extra charge. Breakfast was fine. Amazing tranquility and an awesome pool. Beautiful views.

What a wonderful experience! Staying within the walls of this medieval town was amazing. Our view from the terrace off our room was spectacular. It looked like a page from a fairy tale setting. Breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommended!

When we arrived, the owner picked us up from the bus stop. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the town. However, there is a pleasant walk along a county road through the farm lands from the hotel to the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful & and lovely view from the dining area. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommend!

Location was ideal. They also have a lift which is really rear here and with this old buildings to carry luggage in second floor up the steep and narrow stairs the lift is very welcome. The personal were very friendly and supportive. They put quite an effort to book as a dinner at desired restaurant.

    The room was beautiful, quiet and in a perfect location within Volterra. Even the budget double room was very spacious and was never too warm even during the heatwave. Lovely and peaceful at all hours and a lovely breakfast too.
