I stayed for one night in early May. One of the best Hotels I stayed in Japan. Great location close to the train station, and close enough to the castle so you could go there by foot. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options.

Second time staying at this hotel and I've got to say, everything has been great the first and second time! Staff is super friendly and inviting. Very clean and very well situated for the train station. really comfortable beds. Great shower. very helpful staff.

Re-opened in December 2014 after a thorough renovation, Castle Grandvrio Hotel is a 5-minute ride from JR Himeji Train Station on the free shuttle.

Spacious clean quiet room with comfy beds, fridge and a view. Good buffet breakfast. Public onsen was free to staying guests. Free toiletries in reception and onsen area. Dressing gowns provided with slippers that you could wear to breakfast as well as for onsen.
