We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every need was met. A special mention to Kristian and his wife, who were so welcoming and made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning!

Absolutely superb - stunning location overlooking 9 Arch Bridge, lovely well-equipped cabin, excellent plentiful breakfast, and a host who will generously tuktuk you to town (Ella) at no extra cost, as well as further afield for a reasonable fee.

Very friendly host, delicious breakfast (and tea!), perfect location: close to the Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak, near the road, but surrounded by nice flowers, giant trees, with lot of birds and squirells. The room is clean and comfortable. Perfect place to stay in Ella!

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

During our recent trip to Ella, we had the pleasure of staying at Rawana Mount View and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Sri Lankan hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The owner and his assistant was really friendly and were incredible hosts. They greeted us with smiles, offered us a refreshing drink, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food at Rawana Mount View is simply delicious! Every meal was bursting with fresh flavors, and we highly recommend trying their traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast was a highlight—especially the Sri Lankan pancakes and freshly brewed tea. Dinner was a special experience as well, with options that reflect the local culinary heritage. The meals are prepared with love and care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. One of the highlights of our stay was the local guide, Mr Blum, that the owners introduced us to. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but also extremely passionate. We had a fantastic evening walk to Eagle Rock to watch the sun go down and his insights made the trip so much more enriching. His guidance and stories about his meetings with leopards were highly entertaining. Comfortable Rooms with Hot Showers The rooms at Rawana Mount View are cozy and very comfortable. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight was the hot shower—after hiking through the lush landscapes, it was an absolute treat! The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. In conclusion, Rawana Mount View Ella offers an exceptional stay for anyone visiting Ella. Excellent breakfast with huge variety of choice. Dinner and lunch were also delicious and the staff extremely helpful and speaks good English. The hotel has a perfect location, 300 m away from the town centre. The yoga was also fabulous.

Staff was super kind and paid attention to all details. They recommended us many places and we were late for breakfast and checkout as we ran late from Ella’s rock trekking and they allowed us to stay longer

Very small hotel with only two rooms (other two rooms are for hostel). New and very clean, really. Everything perfect.
