This is a home away from home property it has everything you need. We found it to be the perfect location. It is away from the very busy areas of Queenstown, close to the airport, shops and good restaurants which are not too expensive. It is ideal for two couples travelling together. It has a lovely view of the Shotover River sunrise in the morning. John and Anne are wonderful hosts, we had lovely soup waiting for us on arrival. Their home is beautiful and cosy, our best stay in NZ so far.

Earnslaw Lodge is located a 12-minute walk from the centre of Queenstown and offers free parking and free unlimited WiFi each day. Some rooms boast views of the lake.

We Loved the walking distance to town the spectacular views right outside our window & across. Loved that the location is so convenient to everything made our night walks that much better being so close, Had all the things needed inside , clean & always serviced with new towels etc.. the staff were helpful, so cozy,Will highly recommend, & be back for sure. Even better parking was not a hassle for us.

Close proximity to the town (especially icecream and food), and the pub was a great atmosphere 10 steps away from the room. Food was great and staff were really friendly. The high speed wifi in the room was fantastic, and allowed clear video calls back home.

The host, Ina, was excellent in communicating via message and leaving so much information about Queenstown and the surrounding areas. The cleanliness and presentation were of high standard and we had a lovely stay here. Be mindful that it is not fully contained and does not have a kitchenette, but there is a small fridge, toaster and kettle for a light breakfast. Everything was handled incredibly well and professionally by Ina, who clearly knows what she's doing as a host!

Great place to stay and enjoy the closeness of Queenstown and Arrowtown for instance. Wouldn’t have wanted to be in the center of Queenstown so this was great.
