Very very nice hosts: Adriana and Boby. One of the most quiet places, I have ever been. Boby organizes boat trips through the Danube delta. My trip he guided himself in a small motor boat, so that we guests got very close to nature. Boby knows all the special places of various bird species, for example pelican. I just can recommend Casa Boby.

We booked 2 nights in the property and everything was perfect! You have the full apartment for yourself. The hosts Cosmin and Crina were extremely friendly and helpful. The food cooked by Ms. Crina was really delicious. We booked a excursion with Cosmin and that was indeed the highlight of the stay. He managed to go around the best parts of the delta and very very lucky with the sightings including wild horses. I recommend the stay at Casa Lui Matei.

We were a group of 10 people and we had booked the whole place. The place is on a side street so it's very quiet at night. Rooms were very clean, with comfy beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our food. There is a big dinning room indoor and also space outside to eat, drink and have fun. The hosts were very attentive and did their best to ensure that we had a great stay. We booked Adi for a trip inside the Danube delta and he took us on various channels and lakes to Caraorman forest (where he helped organize a trip inside) and all the way to Sf Gheorghe beach where we had couple hours to enjoy the water. Along the way he told us about the history of the Danube delta, about the various ecosystems and also shared some stories; it was a pleasure to listen to him and he was clearly enjoying to entertain his guests. As we were out the whole day, we ordered the dinner from the hosts that day. It was ready when we got back and was absolutely delicious; everything was prepared fresh and the "storceag" in particular was to die for. If we return to Mahmudia in the future we would definitely stay again here!
