Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. Helpful staff and welcoming. I’d pass our high appreciation to the receptionist, who assisted us in getting bus tickets and directions to the city. She facilitated our program and added value to our overall stay experience. For what you pay, the value is excellent: clean, comfortable rooms with good beds, solid Wi‑Fi and enough space to unpack and relax. I’d book it again without a second thought — in fact, I did it twice on this trip.

This beautifully immaculate hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a living area with a pull out bed that was also comfortable. It had a kit, balcony, walk-in shower, and plenty of closets. The supermarket and train station were a five minute walk away. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the middle of Zurich and 15 minutes to the airport by train. Even though I couldn't rate the restaurant because we didn't eat there, the food smelled amazing. They had a bar, too. They also have a laundry and ironing room. I saw a conference room for business guests. The staff, especially Neil, were accommodating. They just wanted to make our vacation enjoyable. I highly recommend this getaway for individuals and business people alike.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the location was brilliant for us. The hotel was so clean and very well maintained, they carried out daily cleaning of our room for a 3 night stay. The bed was so comfortable and the room size was decent. The bathroom was lovely, a nice powerful shower and daily fresh towels. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

The host was friendly and very helpful and we were welcomed very friendly. There is a bar and restaurant on the same spot for a quick bite. The rooms are spacious and the beds are surprisingly comfortable If you have a car and are looking for something affordable and comfortable then this place is recommended.

Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall was satisfied. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection. There were many different types of cheese available, as well as the opportunity to make fresh orange juice. Our room was large and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The bed was big and comfortable, with a cozy mattress. The hotel's location is very convenient, with our windows facing the train station. Despite this, the windows have excellent soundproofing, and we were not disturbed by any noise.
