We loved the comfy beds & large bedroom, also the luxurious bathroom with huge walk in shower. Our room on the top floor was very quiet. The breakfast was particularly good with a wide choice of food & drink.

The evening meals were a good selection of traditional German cooking using local, seasonal ingredients where appropriate. The staff were most help and friendly to this English speaker. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway or base to explore the green countryside of northern Germany. I had a friend pick me up and deliver me back by car. When it came time to depart, there is a bus right outside the hotel into the town of Wedel, from where a train runs directly to Hamburg Airport.

We were blown away with the stuff on offer in the min bar.Ideal location for the city centre and although the Oktoberfest was on, we didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was amazing with the host serving. Worth every penny

The great location in Utersum close to different restaurants and the beach. A supermarket is right across the street. Our room was nicely furnished with armchairs and a comfortable bed. There was a cooker to make coffee/tea, cups glasses for water and wine. The bathroom had a built-in shower cabinet which was very practical. The balcony was spacious with a table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast was good, you could even sit outside in front of the breakfast room in the nice gardens if you wanted. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is a parking space on the premises.

Walk to beach is basically just across the road. Traveling with small kids can be difficult so this type of facility is perfect for them and they loved it.
