Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, White Rocks beach and the Skerries, Albany Lodge is situated in the centre of Portrush, close to the bustling harbour, restaurants and nightlife. It is a 15-minute drive from Giant's Causeway and within 5 minutes’ walk of 2 Blue Flag beaches, and the world-renowned Royal Portrush Golf Course. Felt like home before I even got into the place, as the lady had left the key under the front door mat for me. The room was spectacular with absolutely incredible views of Royal Portrush, The Skerries and Torr Head We were also accommodated with an earlier than usual breakfast time, which was much appreciated before a day of golf. Couldn’t speak more highly of it. Fantastic location too.

Just 10 minutes from Belfast’s vibrant city centre, The Beechlawn Hotel offers large, colourful bedrooms. With an international restaurant, there is also free private parking.

The restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere for evening dining, and has a varied menu and extensive wine list. The Bistro Bar serves light meals, snacks and beverages in informal surroundings. The hotel is very central to Belfast. The staff are friendly, very welcoming, and attentive. The room was decorated beautifully. I loved the shower room decoration too, very modern and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. There was tea/coffee available in our room. We booked dinner for the evening and I'm so glad we did as this is a very popular hotel restaurant. There was a lovely menu with tempting dishes. We chose the joint of the day, Turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veg and roast potato. The food was delicious it was a large portion I couldn't finish it. I'm sad I didn't have room for dessert as they all looked delicious too. Breakfast was also delicious and freshly cooked. I had porridge, which was cooked when I requested it. I ordered boiled eggs and again they were cooked when I ordered them. My mum had a small fry, which was 2 sausages, 2 rashers, and 2 fried eggs with toast, all freshly cooked to order. The waiting staff at both dinner and breakfast were lovely. Before we left, we met one of the housekeeping staff who enquired if we needed any assistance with our baggage. So thoughtful and kind. I would highly recommend this beautiful gem of a hotel in Dunmurry Belfast. Hope to stay again myself
