Beautiful quiet location with a lovely 10 minute walk down the lane to Buxton and a lovely evening at the Cheshire Cheese. Staff were very helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Cottage was very sweet and just what we were hoping for. Rooms were lovely and comfortable and everything was clean and nicely presented. Very convenient parking in the courtyard outside.

I was greeted by exceptionally kind hosts who made me feel right at home. The room was incredibly cozy, featuring a comfortable bed perfect for a good night’s sleep, and there was ample space to relax and take a leisurely walk. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding—delicious, abundant, and served in a bright, sunny, and very inviting dining area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant stay.

Biggin Hall Hotel je 3hvězdičkový památkově chráněný dům ze 17. století, který je hodnocen AA a má 1 rozetovou restauraci. Nachází se na pozemku o rozloze 8 akrů. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Absolutely loved the place, it was super cosy, had everything we needed and more. Great facilities. I don't think the listing really does the place justice, it's plenty big enough for 2 people and has lots of cool and interesting art and furniture. The kitchen is small but big enough and well equipped for what we needed. Shower was good. Underfloor heating was amazing after coming in from long hikes. Very quiet especially at night, was able to sleep very well, bed also very comfortable.

We appreciated the personal welcome on arrival. Also the milk, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, washing up lliquid and dishwasher tablets, etc which were very welcome. The accommodation was very well appointed with so many extra thoughtful features which made us feel at home. We enjoyed the visit from the peacock and the view of the silky chickens. Would highly recommend and certainly like to return again and again.
