Glengarriff nature reserve Garnish Island The sheep's head peninsula is my favorite part of the country it is worth really exploring. The Beara peninsula rivals or even exceeds the ring of Kerry. Barleycove is the reason people like beaches. The market on a Friday in Bantry is really good. If you have young kids the balloon guy is really good and has a great patter. The fish Kitchen does excellent seafood it only serves food between 12 and 3:00 p.m. It is world booking in advance. There is no fish shop nearby to cook yourself Union hall is the nearest a bit of a track but absolutely worth the visit. School Baltimore sherkin and Cape clear are a bit of a track but worth the effort. There's a hell of a lot more if you're into prehistory and archaeology the Mealagh valley is a virtual treasure chest. Buy the way the house is in the Mealagh valley. You have to have a car.
