I could not have been happier with my stay at Hotel Phoenix. My room was perfect. Clean as can be, very spacious, comfortable, quiet, and inclusive of all the amenities I needed. The two men that run the hotel are phenomenal hosts—I was always greeted with a smile and they were beyond helpful in providing information about the area. Breakfast was fantastic each morning and I looked forward to chatting with the owner. My room was freshened each day, and each night my blinds were closed and I had a chocolate on my pillow. The sweetest! I could not recommend this small hotel enough! When I visit Reykjavik again, this will be where I stay.

It was like 20 minutes walk from the city center and there was a Bonus supermarket which was really good for us as we were on a budget. Accesing the hotel was really easy to understand and it was so much better than having a key and worrying about losing it. Also the parking was always available and right on the main road with also the posibility of parking in the back of the hotel which helped us in our last night. The room was always a nice temperature and we also had a nice view towards the city center. 10/10 will come here again if we come to Reykjavik!
