Lovely hotel on the golden circle. Really easy to check in, rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The restaurant Mika across the road was very good and convenient. Hot tubs were a nice addition.

Some of Geirland’s cosy rooms are set in individual cottages in the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available in the main building. Very clean and well-maintained hotel with excellent rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for seeing the beautiful local area - quite enjoyed the hike to the rear of the hotel. Smooth check-in/out, good breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and free parking. The onsite restaurant was also excellent. Highly recommend!

The erupting Great Geysir is a 10 minute-drive away. Thingvellir National Park is 35 minutes from Gullfoss Hotel. The Kjölur highland road is 2 km away and connects northern and southern Iceland. Reykjavik city centre is 90 minutes away. Lovely greeting, they asked if we would like to be notified if the Northern Lights were visible that night. nice touch. The restaurant was fantastic! Along with the service. Room was lovely, comfortable, good size, everything you would need. The staff were all lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Litli Geysir Hotel is on Route 35, located only 200 metres from the world famous Geysir hot spring in Iceland’s Haukadalur Valley. It offers an in-house restaurant as well as free access to WiFi and free parking.

The Gullfoss Waterfall is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Reykjavík city centre is a 1.5-hour drive away. The room was simple but comfortable. There is no kettle in the room but there is complimentary tea and coffee near the reception. The location is right across the Geysir so you can go at the end of the day when it's less crowded. The best of all was the dinner and the breakfast. We stayed 12 days in Iceland and it was by far the best we've had. The breakfast has a huge choice of food, including a very special Geysir bread that you can't find anywhere else. The dinner was excellent and the prices were correct for Iceland.
