The Acquamarina is set in one of Portoferraio's quiet residential areas. The historic city centre is just a few minutes' walk away. Everything about this hotel was beautiful. Located on a hill above a cove, you can sit on your porch and watch the ocean. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff was amazing and friendly! The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The little bar was perfect for grabbing a bottle of the local bianco and sitting outside watching the moon come up.

Surrounded by lush gardens it features en suite rooms and tennis courts. Fantastic stay! We ended up staying 3 nights (booked 2 more when we arrived) and we had a great time. Close to the beach, friendly staff that did a lot for us, nice little pool at the back. Easy to get to by bus, restaurants by the beach and 10 min walk to the village. The beach is ideal for families.
