Easy walk to most attractions. Great cafe just a few doors down. Kitchen was well stocked with what you need for an easy meal.

The room was nice and traditional. A hot bath is available and can be used by couples. The host Bungo helped us book bus tickets for Shirakawago (if you want to go, book in advance) and helped call a taxi for when we left. The building and garden suffered some minor damages from the January 1st earthquake, we hope repairs go well.
